Looks to me like they’re pointing in the same direction. The engine remains on the same side relative to the fender curves. Only the cockpit
gets
turned around.

Sorry, but I’ve never really liked the shape of the Pagani. Too much back end leading to an unbalanced look. That big V12 doesn’t really lend itself to a sho rt tail. Perhaps if the engine or transmission were transverse it might work better, or if there were some sort of sail panels to extend the greenhouse. I think the ‘80s Testarossa did a pretty good job, mounting a flat engine over the gearbox to keep the powertrain fairly compact and with a relatively low center of gravity.
